Pure rock ’n’ roll
At the heart of the Root is a modern aluminum frame with aggressive geometry — a 64.5° head angle, a steep 76° seat angle, and a short rear end. The result is a hardtail that feels incredibly stable at speed but stays agile and playful in the turns.
Bomber brings the ride to life
When things point downhill, the Marzocchi Bomber Z2 fork with 140 mm of travel and 34 mm stanchions keeps your ride smooth and under control. Rebound and compression adjustments are quick and simple. Paired with the slack head angle, it helps the Root handle like a much smoother bike than most hardtails.
Four pistons down, twelve gears up
Braking power comes from Shimano SLX 4-piston brakes — the same kind found on pure enduro machines. The drivetrain features a 12-speed Shimano XT derailleur and a wide-range 10–51T cassette, ready for climbs, flats, and fast descents alike.
Forgiving wheels for rowdy riding
Not every landing is perfect — and that’s okay. The tough Rodi Tryp 30 enduro rims are built to handle harsh hits and occasional case-outs. For extra trail fun, they come wrapped in Schwalbe Magic Mary in the rear and Hans Dampf up front.
