Frame, Easy Trail geometry, colors

The frame of the Thorr Panasonic is a hardtail, as you can see from the photos. When designing this bike, we paid special attention to quality geometry. The most important parts are, of course, your back and the overall comfortable riding position. And that is what our Easy Trail geometry offers. It is healthy, fun, and easy to maneuver.

Let's talk about the colors, which is always an important aspect when buying a bike. We offer three color variants here. One more masculine, one more feminine, and the third more neutral. The masculine color is black – simply a classic. The feminine one is labeled "Mat Raspberry" – i.e., matte purple. And the neutral one is also matte, but olive-colored.

Panasonic GX Ultimate

A more affordable motor comparable to premium Bosch? Yes. That is how we can describe the Panasonic GX Ultimate motor. A maximum torque of 95 Nm, 4 levels of assistance, and an 806 Wh battery. The motor excels with solid power, for some even aggressive on the "high" assistance level. The motor delivers assistance beautifully, and even at the limit speed of 25 km/h, it slows down and restarts without any unnecessary jerky movements.

With an 806 Wh battery, you can look forward to a sufficiently long range – around 110 km depending on your weight in standard mode, so you can manage even longer mountain rides or all-day missions.

A bonus can be the controller, from which you can charge your phone, connect it with your smartphone, and when using apps like Komoot or Strava, you can monitor data directly on the controller screen.

Component equipment

It's simple here. Up front, the terrain is smoothed out by the RockShox Recon Silver air fork, 130 mm, with which you can handle more than just cycle paths. You will also be helped by high-quality Shimano MT-410 brakes, which have great response and are at least a category higher. For comfort and descents, a dropper seatpost with 125 mm travel for S and M sizes and 150 mm for L and XL is also useful.

The drivetrain is handled by a series dedicated directly to e-bikes – Shimano Cues. Here, it is the Cues labeled U6000, which has eleven gears and a rear cassette range of 11–50T. The Cues is complemented by FSA cranks with a 34-tooth front chainring. This combo is guaranteed to get you uphill even with lower assistance (first we shift, then we increase assistance).

Smooth riding is also ensured by Pells Alloy J30D wheelsets with Shimano TC500 hubs and tires from Schwalbe – Smart Sam 2.35" at the front and Continental Ruban Shieldwall 2.3" at the back. The tires were chosen so that they can handle any city traffic without major problems and support you during all-day trips in the local mountains.

An e-bike you will want to ride

The new Thorr Panasonic was actually created to combine all the riding characteristics and the same concept of comfortable geometry as the award-winning Thorr Bosch, but still remain in a more accessible package. And that is exactly what the Panasonic motor can do. Reduce the price compared to Bosch to a minimum while remaining competitive in terms of strength and power.
